We The Subjects

There was one golden idea behind the American Revolution. Just one that mattered. 1776 saw the rebellion of the American colonies that eventually resulted in the creation of the United States of America. Patriots and freedom lovers and profound men all around, from John Locke to George Washington to Thomas Jefferson to James Madison to Samuel Adams to so many others, all came together with one idea. Their country should be one not of kings or despotic rulers, but one of the people.

The USA was founded as a democratic republic. This means that representatives of the people were elected democratically- meaning equal votes, whoever gets the most wins- who then assumed government positions to run the country. The fact that many people were in charge of running the government (separation of powers, the three branches of government), makes it a republic. By the people, of the people, for the people. A democratic, republic.

Today, I believe, we no longer live in a democratic republic. As Washington himself warned in his farewell address, the Constitution has been "so undermined" (rather than overthrown), that the "energy within it is no longer present." Today we live in a sham-democratic oligarchy. Yes, I really do think that sometimes. That is, the times when I cut the crap, and just admit to myself how low the system of this once great nation has sunk. That is, times like exactly now. How can I say that? Well, just today (or yesterday, maybe), the Senate approved a $555 BILLION spending bill (that means that all Congress passed it, since all spending bills start in the House). This alone, this absolutely massive amount of spending, is proof that the people are no longer being represented. There is hardly a person, most certainly not a majority, wanting the government to spend so much and thus to tax so much. But this is not the offense that has driven me over the edge. Oh, it gets so much worse.

This particular bill was amended at the last moment by a so-called Republican (my GOD have they betrayed us conservatives, I hate them as much as the Democrats sometimes) named Kay Bailey Hutchinson. The amendment states:

"Nothing in this paragraph shall require the secretary of homeland security to install fencing, physical barriers, roads, lighting, cameras and sensors in a particular location along an international border of the United States, if the secretary determines that the use or placement of such resources is not the most appropriate means to achieve and maintain operational control over the international border at such location."

Now for those of you saying that, oh sure, the secretary can still determine where the placement of such measures goes... shut up and think about this for a second. Who appoints this secretary of homeland security? Well, President Bush, King George himself, it seems, (a reference to the King George that America rebelled against in 1776, for you Commie-fornia educated libs out there who don't know) nominates that secretary. And King George just so happens to believe in completely open borders as well as amnesty. Isn't that interesting? Also, the mandate that the fence had to be double-layered is gone completely. Do you see what has happened? From Congress to the Executive to the Judges who practically write laws themselves, they are no longer separated powers. They are all in it together, screwing the people like never before.

Now, we can argue amnesty some other time. Sure, Congress tried to sneak it in and, once caught, failed to pass such legislation because the people of America, for once, were heard. (Every now and then, they throw us a bone like the domesticated, pet dogs they see us as.) Anyway, sure, the majority of America apparently is against amnesty. But what about the fence. Just the fence. For God's SAKE, 9/11 happened over six years ago, why haven't we secured the borders yet? It's insanity! And what do Americans at large think about the fence? Even liberal outlets say that 60%, a good majority, of Americans want a fence. That means a two layered fence from ocean to ocean, basically. The conservative (and probably more accurate in this case) estimates have it somewhere over 80%. If the majority of Americans apparently oppose amnesty, surely even more want a fence. It isn't that hard to put together, people. We want the damn fence!

So why don't we have it? Not only that, why are we moving in the OPPOSITE direction? Because the MISrepresentatives have an oligarchical monopoly on the whole damn system, that's why! Who is anyone kidding when they think their vote even matters anymore!? Honestly! By the people, of the people, for the people!? These days? Are you serious? If our government were for the people, the national guard would have closed the border in the afternoon of 9/11, and a fence would have been built before the end of that year. If our government were of the people, career politicians wouldn't be selling us down the river by passing ever larger spending bills, allowing company after company (including computer security companies that provide software to the PENTAGON) to be bought out by DUBAI or CHINA. If our government were still by the people, we'd have already won in Iraq, and Afghanistan, and a fraction of the troops that have died would have in the process. Oh, and the borders would be secured. Have I mentioned that?

For me, this bill taking away even the hope of seeing a fence is the last straw. It is over. I am done believing right now. There is no America anymore, not like there used to be. King George W. would love to hear me say this, being the secret planner of a North American Union, make no mistake about it. (Why do you think he keeps making deals with Mexico to sell out Americans, from trucks to illegals to EVERYTHING?) But I get ahead of myself- that's for another post. The America that used to exist, the America of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln... That America is dead. Representatives have become misrepresentatives. They don't care about us. They don't take care of us, they rarely listen to us, and they sure as hell don't represent us. Our judges are no longer judges, they are activists. In league with every other branch of government, they write laws and MISinterpret them, as well as the constitution, once again, to subjugate the people. How many times has legislation against gay marriage passed by the people in large majority, only to be overthrown by one activist judge? The wants of the people matter not to them.

As for ol' dubbya, I will refer to him only as King George of America from now on. The coincidence in names and actions is just too much. Think about how similar the two are. First of all, King George III ended up going insane, but I will leave that one alone. Relevantly, what were his offenses to the American colonies? Long story short, King George III of England did not listen to the people there. He taxed them, taxed them, and taxed them more. It was a big racket for him. He didn't give them representation in parliament. He forced everything he wanted down their throat. King George of America, to his credit, has cut taxes. Buuuuut, he has spent more money, (by signing legislation that his not-so-separate branch of government, Congress) than any other President. Ever. That doesn't even count the war spending, by the way. If you include the endless war that should have been won... wow. Our taxes are paying for all this crap, the debt is running HUGE as well as the deficit. There are only two ways this can be payed off: big taxes, or shrinking the dollar's worth (inflation) so that the dollars that do pay it off are worth nothing. (Why do you think oil is costing so much- oil's worth isn't going up nearly as much as the dollar's worth is going DOWN!) Why do you think the Fed keeps cutting interest rates, thus increasing inflation? Oh the debt may be payed off, but the dollars paying it off won't be worth wiping with after going twosies. Either way you look, we, the people, are paying for King George of America's spending. One way or another, we ARE being taxed- tax cuts or not. Our pockets are being emptied, or just filled with worthless currency. King George of America has done this to us, along with our misrepresentatives.

Back to the original point, King George of America and the rest of our corrupt MISrepresentative government has given us no representation. We have no fence. NO FENCE, people! Are you seeing this? Yea, I know, the Iowa Caucus. Woooo, what a big deal. It's all you hear about in the news. Soon it will be New Hampshire. After all, a whopping one in thirteen candidates to become President ever actually won Iowa since they started caucusing, (just so happens that was King George of America). That's what the news is ALL about though. Some corn farming Iowans, and a minority of them at that, apparently matter to everyone more than not getting a fence. Apparently the media is also in the government oligarchy. Michael Savage called it perfect with he called it a "government-media complex." We the people get nothing from either. By the way, why aren't we hearing anything about the situation in Pakistan? Isn't that still important? Back to King George...

From his pushing amnesty to building no fence to not winning a perfectly winnable war to not securing the border in any way... King George doesn't listen to us. King George lords over us with that stupid squinty look on his face. Where is our fence, King George, and how many times must I as this? Actually, usually, just like King George III, King George of America doesn't even give us an audience. He just makes press statements saying nothing. I'd like to see him answer just one of MY questions!!!

In fact, I'd like to ask both King George and Senate-whore (play on the word Senator) Kay Bailey Hutchinson just one question. WHO OWNS YOU!?! Someone tell me, please, who owns these people? Obviously the American people don't. Supposedly these people work for us, but I don't see that happening anymore. Did we even actually elect these people? I feel like Chavez is running America's elections. No wonder American voter turnout is so low. I guess Americans are pretty smart after all. They have figured out that someone, SOMEONE, be it Halliburton, the one-world-government supporting communists like George Soros, the Chinese, Dubai, the Illuminati (joking with that one...), all of the above, someone owns our government now. We the people do not. Who owns you, King George? I want to know.

As far as I am concerned, there is only one way out of this. Just one. You guessed it, (probably not), revolution. I don't know that an armed revolution, a Civil War, per say, is the answer. But apparently a revolution from within isn't happening. No one worth a dime is trying to reform things back to the ways of the founding fathers- the ways that worked. Apparently someone already has, actually, (red diaper babies), and this is the result. A sham is the result. I'm not sure when, but somewhere along the line this last century, probably in the late sixties and seventies, we the people were squeezed out of our Constitution, our Democracy, our Republic, our representation, our say, and our freedom. We have a ruling class of elites, an oligarchy of "leaders" making decisions for us, in league with most of the media, that have undermined the Constitution and founding ideals so much, that the America of the 17-1800s is as dead as the Roman Empire. No, I'm not a crazy conspiracy theorist, I don't think the CIA blew up the towers, I just call it like I see it, and I know a thing or two about history, politics, and people. Back to what I was saying, we need a revolution.

Ruling out change from within and a civil war, nothing is left except a bloodless coup. I know, I'm dreaming, but so were Jefferson, Washington, etc. Perhaps General Petraeus will, ironically, become moveon dot org's "General Betray Us" after all. Only, since our government isn't our own anymore, it won't be us. It will be them. Anyone with founding ideals would do. Believe me, if I were a general with an army loyal enough to me, instead of our oppressive leaders, I'd sure be tempted to pull a Caesar. (Or a Sulla, for you history buffs.) An old friend of mine had an idea a long time ago, I don't talk to him anymore, but it was a profound (if not accidental) one. What our system needs is a clean slate. A start over. I'd take the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, a few more key ideas (women's right to suffrage, etc.), and everything else is erased. New laws have to be passed. By the people. All politicians and their workers would no longer hold office. New people, all around. Term limits for everyone. That sort of thing. I don't want to hang King George and his cronies so much... just exile them.

But you know, maybe I'm just in a hopeless, pessimistic sort of mood. Maybe I'm overreacting to the new bill that no longer requires that we get our fence. Maybe the fact that six years after 9/11 we don't have Bin Laden, haven't secured the border, and are bogged down not winning winnable wars doesn't mean anything. Maybe the fact that illegals run rampant, gang violence surges as a result, as well as the multitudes of hospitals closing, schools getting overcrowded and more underfunded, welfare lines swelling, entire states going bankrupt, doesn't mean anything. Maybe the fact that we damn near had amnesty for illegals doesn't mean anything.

Maybe the fact that every American manufacturer is under threat of predatory foreign manufacturers because Congress does nothing doesn't mean anything. Maybe the fact that computer security companies are being allowed to be sold to China, the country that has already demonstrated its military power to us hostilely, as well as wages economic war against us by fixing their currency to always run a deficit in their favor, all the while stealing our nuclear secrets, violating our copyright and similar laws, oh, and donates more money than we'll ever know to presidential candidates like Hillary, doesn't matter. Maybe the fact that Dubai almost got control of our ports, while they have bought large portions in numerous HUGE American companies doesn't mean anything. Maybe the fact that a Saudi Arabian prince owns a large portion of Fox News doesn't mean anything. Maybe the fact that George Soros is in bed with almost every Democrat and newspaper editor and CNN big wig doesn't mean anything. Maybe the fact that the two border patrol agents who were jailed merely for opening fire on an armed drug runner are STILL in prison for doing so doesn't mean anything. Maybe the fact that America still funds terrorism through petro-dollars because "environmentalists" still lobby to not drill oil in our own territory doesn't mean anything.

Maybe the fact that even when the vast, VAST majority of America wants a border fence, double layered, from sea to shining sea, not only is a fence not built, but the politicians move backwards on such plans, maybe that too doesn't mean anything.

Or maybe, just maybe, it's already over. Maybe we already live in a despotic oligarchical country. Maybe the "Skull and Bones" elites decided democracy wasn't working for their interests any more, and we the people have become nothing more than we the subjects.
