My (dead) Fantasy 3

The word just came in. Romney is pulling out of the race. He was not as conservative as I'd have liked, but he was the only chance we had to save this country from further ruin. We now have the huckster named Huckabee, who almost certainly will not win, and we have McClinton, the Democrat who calls himself a Republican. I, for one, will not vote for him. Not if Osama himself were running against him.

Let us take a quick look back. The majority of registered Republicans, like me- for no other reason than to vote in their primaries- do not want McCain as the nominee. The conservative vote has been split because, apparently, my fellow conservatives are not deserving of the credit i often give them, in this case. Why do I say that? Because Huckabee got their vote because he is a minister and not a Mormon. Because that's just what McClinton wanted to happen. He isn't a conservative at all, if you look at his record. I guess it's true how easily the mainstream media can fool the people, or sheeple. Of course, one has to note that, statistically, a good portion of Republicans did not even vote in the primaries on Stupid Tuesday. I guess they saw what I saw in Romney's quasi-conservatism, and weren't inspired enough to show up for him either. But I can assure you, if there were a point system or something of the sort, this third-wheel dirty candidate McClinton wouldn't be assured of the nomination. Because registered Republicans (even including the Democrats who registered the day of the primary just to vote for McClinton) don't want him as president. Because he assaults the first amendment in multiple attempts to destroy free speech. Because he is incredibly weak on the second amendment. Because he has tried and will try again to get anmnesty for tens of millions of illegal INVADERS! Because he wouldn't even dunk a terrorist in some water if a threat were imminent. Because of so much more still...

We live in a sham democracy, this is sure. Romney was a Washington outsider, he's not in the club, and he was duelly marginalized and kicked out. McCain is not desired by the majority of his party, he is desired by Democrats and the news (same thing). The conservatives, meaning the majority of the Republican party, and the majority of America, do not want McCain. We hardly wanted Romney, to be honest, but there was no one else even close. Now look what we have.

Let me say now, for the record, that every single one of you people who are going to say that we have to suck it up and vote for McCain because he's still a Republican, you make me sick. YOU MAKE ME SICK!!! I'm going to compromise with McClinton for "the good of the party"!? That's what McClinton is asking of me. He shove it down his piehole. It's time to clean house in this party, or start a new one. You know Washington warned us about the spirit of party, right? Do you know what he said in his farewell address? Go google it, I'm not cut and pasting it for you this time, you establishment, party loyalist, MORONS! This isn't about parties. This is about an idea. Out country. The conservative view of it, the view of the founding fathers. The best form of government ever concieved.

But the America of the 1700s doesn't exist anymore. Something else is now here. Like London, built on the original Roman settlement called Londinium, it's in the same place, with the same name, but it is not the same city. Something else was built on top of it. America is not the same country either. An oligarchy, sham democracy has been built upon it, the once freest, greatest country. You know Stuper Tuesday was never in the Constitution? If this nomination, after everything else- the lack of a fence, the war still not won, the taxation, need i go on?- doesn't prove it to you, you are just blind, and nothing will.

We the people, the silenced majority, the conservatives, the Constitutionalists, the amdirers of our founders, the patriots... have been squeezed out of the system all together. Who now represents our interests? Who is our candidate in this ultra corrupt party based system? Good maneuver, you liberals out there, I have to admit. You played your hand well. I don't know how you can sleep at night, bringing the future that you're bringing, maybe that's why libs have less kids.

I want to quote now from the Declaration of Independence, a document more important than anyone would be taught in the public schools...

...Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, -That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government...

Our government is no longer a representative government. The will of the people is not being exercised. I suppose there is some hope, that when one of the Clintons (Mc- or regular), or God forbid the Affirmative Action candidate, is elected, there are also enough true conservatives elected to the House and Senate that they can force the liberal president's hand and push conservatism anyway, but I doubt it. Or maybe Hillary will be such a disaster as president, it will be like Jimmy Carter, ushering in the great Reagan era. Maybe the man on the white horse is still coming, just not here. I kind of doubt it though, call my cynical. I am.

Still, seems to me that our best hope, which is almost none at all considering the odds, is for a general in Iraq or Afghanistan (or maybe both) to sweep in, take control for a short period of time, institute reforms that take our political system back to the ideals of June 21, 1788. For those of you who don't know, that is when the Constitution was ratified. That, the Declaration, and the Bill of Rights are what we need. All the crap built on top of it has proven to be nothing but vile corruption, whos stink has soured our nation from top to bottom. Remember Jefferson's words. We've tried altering it, that hasn't worked. It is our right to overthrow a government when it no longer derives its powers from our consent. In fact, it is our duty! I think we have been given permission by our founding father, third President, and Declaration writer, to overthrow our government with those words above. I have no doubt that he would want us to. You tell me, do you think our government still has the "consent of the governed." Does the will of the people matter at all anymore?
