I just got off the phone with someone who is an elementary school teacher. It was so... profound, a conversation, that I felt the need to immediately chronicle it here. I'm not going to say who it was that called me, but she was with about ten of her colleagues- yes, all teachers. They all did not know the answer to a question, I don't know how it came up, so I was called, and I gave the answer. The question was: did the USA fight in WWI? Seriously. None of them knew. Not a one. As the conversation moved on for a few minutes, it turns out that they didn't know what happened in Korea, or how that turned out, exactly, and the fact that we had basically won in Vietnam (before we wimped out and left- I won't tell the entire story right now), and so on. These teachers had no idea about any of this stuff. History repeats itself because people don't learn from it, right? Well...
I should also mention that everyone in this historically-ignorant group is either a Hillary Rotten Clinton or Barry Hussein supporter.
Surprised?
